Directions to Ozone Falls Waterfall
From Crossville travel East towards Knoxville on I-40. Exit at the Crab Orchard exit (329). Turn left off the exit ramp and go to the intersection of U.S. Highway 70. Turn right. The parking area will be on your right.
From Knoxville go west towards Nashville on I-40 and exit at Crab Orchard (329). From Crab Orchard exit, turn right onto U.S. Highway 70 going east. The highway takes you straight to Ozone Falls. It will be on your right.

Not only is Fairfield Glade home to its own pristine lakes and hiking trails, it’s also within a short distance to several other stunning natural attractions.
Located just 20 minutes from Fairfield Glade, Ozone Falls waterfall is sure to impress! This 110′ waterfall plunges over a sandstone cap rock into a deep, rock-strewn pool. An impressive rock house “amphitheater” that was created over geologic time by wind, water, freeze/thaw, and erosion provides the backdrop for the falls.
Because of its picturesque beauty and easy access, Ozone Falls was selected for filming scenes for the movie “Jungle Book.”
There are two trails within this natural area and a nearby parking lot making access straightforward. Make your way down a very short and cleared trail leading to the very top of this 110′ waterfall or hike to the bottom for an up close and personal experience.
While the upper trail is very easy, the trail leading to the bottom is quite the challenge. Please note you will need hiking boots – the lower trail entails very large boulders and steep inclines. The water from the waterfall also creates a very slick and muddy trail.
Like other attractions in the area, this trail is dog-friendly as long as your pet is kept on the leash.
